I have been working at Raytheon

Pros

large corporation & benefits. close to the beach and nice weather in southern california

Cons

large corporation, too much politics. There is not much room to move up in the company. Individual's job is too focused on the specialty.

    I worked at Raytheon

    Pros

Interesting work. Good people for the most part. Professional and respectful.

    Cons

Cliques still remain. Depends on plant location and nature of work. If you fail to break into the clique, then you are in trouble.
Top down communication breaks down unless the news is rosy.
Upper mgt lost sight of the bread and butter of the business. Growth and plans are fine, but failure affects all in the trenches.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Reassess business strengths. Refocus efforts to regain that position.
