I have been working at RealPage

    Pros

some good people who really try

    Cons

some bad people who really don't care

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

stop managing from the top down, stop acting like a small company, and stop using growth and acquisition as an excuse for mediocrity and incompetence

I worked at RealPage full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The work was interesting and there was plenty of opportunity to learn new things

    Cons

No opportunity for advancement, management can't make any decisions themselves--it literally had to go all the way up the chain to the CEO to get anything approved. Raises are based off a fixed amount distributed over a team, so if you walk on water, you will get 3%, but a 1%-2% annual increase is most likely. Company culture is sick. Really sick.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper management--trust the people you hire to do their jobs and make decisions. Clean out the dead weight--there's exponentially more of thet here than any other place I've ever been.
