Horrible company. So-so product. All downhill from here.

Pros

Nice view of San Francisco from the office building.

Cons

Too many to mention. They let good people go. Politics and favoritism goes a long way there. Talent doesn't!

Advice to Management

Get rid of all upper and senior management. CEO needs to go. Company needs a new CEO and more importantly, company needs a COO to get everyone in line and provide direction.

    Pros

The compensation is great and the employees are generally very supportive of each other. The technology that is used as the company's foundation is astounding and very impressive.

    Cons

There is no company culture (if there is, i would describe it as "stuffy") and management doesn't do much to develop one. This is partly because many employees work remotely and team building events are scarce. Employees don't get a feeling they are part of something bigger, they are generally overworked and not excited anymore about the products. Its a small company but it feels like a huge company because of so many executives and poor communication.

    Advice to Management

Open more lines of communication with the "little guys" to find out what can be done to improve the company. Management should be a source of inspiration and be more attentive to the employees rather than simply focusing only on products or talking to analysts. Many of the employees have great ideas but rarely are they heard because upper management does not make themselves accessible and there is not a supportive framework/culture to enable this. I see it becoming more and more discouraging and frustrating to work here.

After second round of layoffs, employees should stay wary of this company

    Pros

The company is located in downtown SF; has a decent client base; and substantial name recognition in a clouded market.

    Cons

Management does not value or treat its employees respectively. People often leave due to poor work conditions and micromanagement.
