Current Employee – been working at Red Cross full-time for more than 8 years

Pros – Some excellent people, great mission, and positive change is on the horizon.

Cons – lessening job security, low wages can't retain good people, worsening and complex benefits, slow to respond to change

Advice to Senior Management – It is exciting to know that we will soon be out from under the consent decree. With the money the organization is and will be saving in fines, you should reinvest it into the compensation of your employees and being more aggressive and strategic in growing the business. Let's get employees and America excited about the Red Cross again!
