Advice to Management

It is always important to praise your employees and thank them for a job well done. Just a simple, thanks for a good shift" makes a lot of difference. Remember, it is the hospitality industry, and you must set the tone even when dealing with employees. Say hello to each employee nicely if you have the chance.

    Pros

    Flexible hours during typical week
High earning potential if willing to put in the work
    Best benefits of any restaurant
Easy after you become well versed in the menu

    Cons

Have to work nights and weekends
    Have to wear a uniform
Inability to take off certain holidays because of peak business hours
    Can only take 3 tables

    Advice to Management

Be weary of favoritism being exhibited by certain in house managers. Although, seniority should carry some weight, many times very talented servers are not giving the proper ability to excel. If a worker wants to try and close, give them a shot on a random tuesday night or something.

  2. very structured environment. If you are not good at following rules than do not work here

    Pros

Very structures environment, questions are always answered, There is no gray area, just black and white, which keeps you always in the loop. Teamwork is amazing, could not ask for a better service crew.

    Cons

There are problems with favoritism, and some of the "structured" rules they have are very hard to abide by, especially for a serving job. To get paid $2.13 an hour employees should not have to do some of the work they are told. That is what an hourly, janitor, or housekeeping position is for, but managers do not want to go over on payroll so they use servers as their workhorses.

    Advice to Management

Keep your personal life out of the workplace. Bringing your personal/ extra-curricular activities into the workplace never ends well.
