Decent place for a college student to work

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

I have been working at Red Lobster

ProsPay can be good, especially around holidays, upwards for $600 for 30 hours a week wasn't bad at all.
Corporate management doesn't allow servers to take more than 4 tables, so it is a pretty stress-free environment

ConsPay can be volatile (not everyone knows how to tip)
Shifts can ware on you, 10 hours a day on your feet is the norm.

Advice to Senior ManagementDo a better job screening employees, listen more to employees concerns regarding scheduling, have seen a lot of turnover as a result of scheduling disputes.

The job of a server is very stressful, dealing with very needy and unappreciative guest with very little support.
