I worked at Red Lobster part-time for more than a year

Pros

Very professional management, good wages(not server) , good atmosphere. I made more hourly bar tending here than other restaurants. They really do try to please every guest. One of the more professional restaurants I have worked in.

Cons

Some employees in industry are unprofessional with bad habits ( no reflection on the company)

    I worked at Red Lobster

    Pros

Great General Manager, Flexible Hours, Fun Employees, and Great Customers!

    Cons

Unreliable pay, split shifts, lower management team not so nice, and no advancement.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Really take a look at who is running the show when you are not there, if your employees are happy, you customers will be happy, and you will advance more within your branch.

I have been working at Red Lobster full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Professional management team, clean atmosphere, benefits that begin immediately, employee discount (50% during work day, 25% off days and that applies to any Darden location). If you are really hard-working and motivated you can go quite far here.

    Cons

Can be strenuous at times, especially during periods such as Lobster Fest or Endless Shrimp. Some staff are difficult to deal with.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Just need some restructuring, such as having stations fully prepared for shifts, making sure each station works in sync with one another to increase production and allow for a smoother transition between shifts, boosting employee morale.
