I have been working at Red Lobster part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

The money is good on the weekends and at night, if you can get scheduled for these shifts, which is difficult.

Cons

Being new, they give you shifts that are not wanted by the people that have been there longer. In turn, it makes it very hard to make money being new.

Advice to Management

It would be nice to be clear in the beginning about what shifts will be available

I worked at Red Lobster full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

There were good discounts for things other than food. For example on phones and phone service. Discounts on computers and you could even get pet insurance.

    Cons

Long hours of standing on hard floors. Managers were only mildly trained in all aspects of the restaurant. The newer the manager the more they did not know . Constant changing of procedures to one way then back to the previous way. Confusion!

    Advice to Management

Bring back some of the old Red Lobster while keeping with these difficult times.
