I worked at Reebok full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Learned a lot about logistics and footwear/fitness lifestyle. Definitely a resume builder. Good culture if you make an effort. Great work life balance (because everyone pretty much leaves by 5-6, a luxury) Cool grounds and building, fun perks, good parties, gym, classes, discount.

    Cons

CEO did not have a clear vision and was thusly demoted, and many others lost their job. Middle management is undertrained. A classic "top down" ineptitude. because they dont want to pay for quality talent they get marginal manager types. When cuts are made to programs they move people around that they like regardless of that persons experience with new product/program. Had 4 managers in 2 years because of lost business/mismanagement/layoffs. Interpersonal politiking landmines abound. Like most places your happiness depends on who you work with.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Seek (and pay) for talent from around the country/globe. Recruiting needs to bone up. Hire top talent and youll get top results. But it seems they dont want to pay/pay to move people and therefore get stuck with a lot (not all) suburbanite seat fillers.

    Pros

Responsibility piles on fast, great way to learn many different areas of the business

    Cons

Poor leadership, lack of vision, zero creative flow, driven not by creativity but the product of competitors
