Current Employee - Floor Staff (Box Office Cashier, Concessions, and Usher) in Charlottesville, VA

I have been working at Regal Entertainment part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Free movies, free movie posters & memorabilia, flexible on requesting days off

    Cons

Lazy management, very apparent favoritism from management, you don't get paid enough for all the hard work you do, there are very limited advancement opportunities

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your employees better, honestly. They're the ones doing all the hard work. Anything would help; higher pay, better benefits, more incentives, etc. We simply do not get paid enough or are treated well enough for all the hard work we do.

    Pros

They have a 401k match and good health insurance.

    Cons

Unrealistic performance goals not directly related to person being evaluated. Expect 60+ hours on a salary based at 40 hours.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Value what you have in employees and middle management instead of creating a revolving door environment. The payoff would benefit all.
