I have been working at Regency Hospital full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Lots of perks and great salary. Great staff in the hospitals. We really give exceptional care.

    Cons

No training programs. If you can't hit the door running, you won't last long. They don't give anyone long enough to learn the job, no matter what your title is, and the liaison job is a revolving door here! We need more work hours in the hospital.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Bring back the old training programs that were in place before Select Medical bought out Regency

I have been working at Regency Hospital

    Pros

co-workers rn/rt/pt/ot are all great. helpful staff for the most part. benefits are adequate... better since being bought by select medical. most work 3 12-hour shifts. the pay scale is tops in the area.

    Cons

Management has carte blanche to make/change/impose policies at will depending on who is in question. no fairness to employees. environment created by management can be harassing and intimidating. paitent population is depressing to work with while families are unreasonable and unrealistic about prognosis.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

This could be a great place to work if management and administration were more pro-staff and actually listened to the concerns from employees.

    Doesn't Recommend
    No opinion of CEO
