I have been working at Regions Financial

    Pros

Move up quick, if you're good at sales.

    Cons

Don't have to be real knowledgeable of bank operations (which you should be) to be a manager. That's the problem with a lot of managers, they're just good at sales, that's how they got there.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn procedures, realize that the economy changes and just because you were awesome 5 years ago in our position doesn't mean we can be today. You didn't have to try back then to meet goals, now it's almost impossible. Plus the corp keeps raising the goals to make it even harder to bonus. For all the money we make, and don't give back wages should be higher.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management should have real expectations for themselves and those they manage. Also they should treat others how they want to be treated.
