Sales Pressure is Relentless

Fss III (Current Employee) Fort Myers, FL

ProsHours, decent vacation, training material is adequate.

ConsRegions core values are a joke, they don't do what is right by the customer, they don't put people first, and they DON'T focus on the customer. Its all about numbers. In the first quarter of 2010, 121 branches are being closed corp-wide. Sales pressure is relentless and is seriously turning away quality customers. Product-pushing ruined every bank that ever made it the primary focus. They hire managers with no banking experience that are clueless to proper policy and procedures.

Advice to Senior ManagementFocus should be on quality, not quanity! Products should be suggested or recommended, not forced on customers because of the need to meet a sales goal! Cut your own salary to allow payroll for hiring the proper staffing we need to operate the branches safely.
