I worked at Remington Arms

Pros

Very good benefits and pay. Enjoyed working with fellow co-workers. Employees were appreciative of the "Remington" brand and were proud to work at Remington.

Cons

Had to work too much overtime. New owners were not very concerned about employees having a good work/life balance.

I have been working at Remington Arms full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Learning some trade skills, lots of overtime, good pay, benefits

    Cons

Lazy morons and kiss asses get the same pay as you. Management hasn't learned to talk to one another or convey changes or policies to everyone. Worthless union.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There are many company/union rules that are not being followed. Some bosses pick and choose where and when they want to follow/institute those rules. Supervisors worry too much about work flow and their bonuses instead of actually being a supervisor to their subordinates. Not enough disciplinary action to those who constantly screw off, screw up , and don't care!

I have been working at Remington Arms

    Pros

The people are great, but managment has made so many poor decisions that moral is at the lowest point it has ever been

    Cons

All capital and new product development projects have been killed. There won't be anything new to sell in 2012.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Quit so that someone that knows what they are doing can run the business.
