Rent-A-Center – “Not a bad experience, but often challenging when trying to meet company expectations with high turnover & understaffing.”

Compensation good based on total hours worked and consistent overtime allotted on a weekly basis. You're off on Sundays, and have a day off during the week. Strong company where you can count on having a job as long as your work hard and are consistent. Advancement opportunities are given to those are interested and shown capable.
Cons
Good you are off on Sundays, but consistently (required) work on Saturdays. Weekends off are few
unless on vacation. Work hours during the week require the whole day starting as early 8am and as late as 9pm. Workload is demanding but is made worse due to lack of small store staff and responsibilities being handle by all coworkers versus being solely job-specific .
Advice to Senior Management
Management can improve the lives of coworkers by increasing staff, if not at each store, then by hiring floaters within districts that are trained and can be called upon at stores that need the help. Therefore, if someone is out (i.e. sick, vacations, leave) this will not affect meeting the demands of the store. These floaters can later be made permanent at stores, and the hiring process continues. The floaters don't have to be part-time, but full-time. This will give a consistent flow of staff and recruiting without missing time of business when staffing changes suddenly (i.e.
someone quitting, termination). This flow of staff is needed with the current turnover rate of company and could possibly decrease this rate when the demands of business are better shared.
