Rent-A-Center – “It was OK”

Pros

They cut ours hours back to 40 and upped our pay rate to compensate. We had to sign something saying that it was just a trial and that it may go back. It was a nice change, but I heard they tried to switch it back after I left.

Cons

physical demands of the job. It can be stressful to try to make the standard. They hire in people above you that are not very good. Then after the rent-way merger there was this Manager-in-Training program. Where there are guys that are basically hired in as store managers. There goes your chances of getting your own store.

Advice to Senior Management

I like the suits you guys wear when you come to visit the store. They look talior-made and not bought of the rack and nice shoes too.
