Rent-A-Center Account Manager in Beaumont, TX:   (Current Employee)

Pros

You gain exposure several different business functions. Pretty stable..in a good economy ppl could still utilize services. In a bad economy ppl can definitely utilize services. If you like to stay active and do not mind wearing several different hats this may be for you.

Cons

The pay could be a lot better! You are required to do so much operations and admin tasks variety. Long hours...I often worked 50 hours/wk. Do not stay here too long to begin a career. I worked here as a summer employee while in college....which is an extremely rare opportunity. Shows growth and maturity on an undergrad resume. If you have a college degree go somewhere else...even if you are a store manager!

Advice to Senior Management

Compensation should be increased and the organizational structure within store may need to be tweeked to eliminate employees being bogged down and overworked 50hrs./weekly. Maybe hire an actual delivery personnel???
