I have been working at Rent-A-Center full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    weekly pay, employee purchase program.

    Cons

We are over worked under paid and definitely under appreciated. be prepared to work an average of 12hrs a day. and not be able to plan any activities at all for family or friend events because they split your days off. There is absolutely no motivation in this position, if you work like heck to get all the deliveries done so might have a hope of being able to leave at 730 kiss that goodbye. They will just schedule more, and if you don't get them all done you get written up.
    Morning- Collection calls 2-3hrs
Lunch- 1 hr (30 min if they have a lot to do which is often)
Afternoon- 5hrs of delivering and picking up merchandise
    Overtime/nights- Home visits for collections/repo
the store closes at 7pm but i have been on the truck until 8 3 out of 5 days a week so it is not uncommon to not be done with work until 830-9.

I worked at Rent-A-Center full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Employees can find some great deals on repossessed merchandise and I do emphasize great.

    Cons

Ethical dilemma for those with a conscience towards the repossession of goods. Specially from families that have already paid three times the retail value for the merchandise when they fell into an even hard economic situation. Then again, that's where the great deals come from.
