Pros

A stable business, supporting McDonald's restaurants all around the world. The benefits are just fine: good salary, excellent health assistance, and even an innovation program that awards the best ideas which a good amount.

Cons

The managers are not able to deal with the customer when the topic is schedule. That brings a lot of problems to the teams that have to deal with it themselves, giving up to the quality and eventually getting into a lot of trouble and stress. It gets worse when you hear speeches about the commitment to quality, and value statements of "simple, practical solutions" and "integrity".

Advice to Management

I recommend to review the company's value statement, and reinforce it to the managers, so them can be reminded about it. Or simply drop the statement and assume things is not really that way.

I have been working at Restaurant Application Development International full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

It has a good work environment and a good compensation & benefits package. The weekly journey is about 40 hours and usually nobody works at weekend. People work as team. And there is the challenge of deploy the application worldwide.

    Cons

In support area there is a big backlog of issues that is hard to manage. The support to an application that is delivery worldwide has the challenge of the time zone and the different cultures.

    Advice to Management

Clear communication about the goals. Track carefully the backlog of issues, considering the prioritization. Learn the architecture of solution and challenges of its implementation.
