Restaurant Depot – “Ok for the step up to Store Manager, after that not much opportunity”

Pros

If you are current assistant manager at another company and are looking to make the step to store manager this is a good place to do so.

Cons

The work load and expectations are a little unreasonable. Quality of department management type people is poor compared to retail supermarkets.

Advice to Senior Management

Upper management should try and lay off of the email for a bit and actually go work in the stores for a period of time long enough to see what actually happens.
