A company that has a good concept but no compassion for its employees

Field Marketing Representative (Former Employee)
Tampa, FL

I worked at Restaurant Depot full-time for more than a year

ProsHas quality products at fair prices with a good mix of merchandise.

ConsPoor to inadequate IT and computer system that forces its employees to use their personal
computers to get the information they need to perform their jobs.
Low paying wages for jobs with promises of bonuses that will not be paid due to issues
beyond employees control. Micro Managing GPS systems of field reps that the reps are not
allowed to start until they reach the assigned zip code and are to be turned off after the zip code is
done for the day. Rep pays the gaps Mileage is paid when company gets to it Flat rate Amount regardless of mileage . Sometimes up till a month later.

Advice to Senior Managementloosen your wallet a little and reward those people that bust their ass for you
every day .Change the way you pay your sales reps mileage. Why should they tear up their
car and lose money to promote your business ? You know you'll never pay them their bonus .

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Company driven by greed, cares less about employee safety or health.

Freezer Aisleman (Former Employee)
Memphis, TN

I worked at Restaurant Depot full-time for less than a year

Pros: It's a job. And that's about the extent of it. Cons: Poor communication. Management cannot agree upon anything. If you are not part of the inner circle you are treated inferior. Management are self-centered. DO NOT… Advice to Senior Management: Get rid of your clicks within management. It's poor business. Have some compassion for you… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
