Restoration Hardware – “Nice products, Insane CEO”

Pros

Sample sales are great. The products are really great and the people who produce them are meticulous.

Cons

Work life balance is non-existent. Disparity in pay is vast, if you are a Pet of the CEO your salary will be great and completely out of whack with reality, some VPs make over $300k no kidding. The CEO is an absolute whack job freak. He believes the company caters to a much higher demographic than its customers really are.

Advice to Senior Management

Wake up and smell the market. Outsource your catalog design dept. and lost about half the worthless VPs. Streamline your supply chain.
