ProsEmployees are passionate about helping people with mental illness but also highly professional. There are lots of opportunities to collaborate with other organisations - including government and other mental health charities.

ConsInterns are unpaid - though this shouldn't be surprising for a charity with limited resources.

    I worked at Rethink Mental Illness as a contractor for less than a year

    Pros: The charity themselves do fantastic work for service users and… Cons: Boss was a bully, no support from company over the way he was. Several of us had a problem with him and yet nothing… Advice to Senior Management: Listen to your employees at the bottom of the ladder. Without those employees the company… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company… More
