Reynolds and Reynolds Anonymous in Dayton, OH:   (Current Employee)

Pros

Opportunities for advancement, corporate culture, training and development, open-door policy with upper management, benefits provided to associates, facility, opportunities that are given to those without prior experience, promotions are given based on merit and not simply tenure.

Cons

Negative attitudes from some surrounding the merger. There are a number of people (as you can tell from this line of postings) that still harbor resentment to the changes, but this has helped to make Reynolds a better run organization.

Advice to Senior Management

It is great that you all make yourselves available for newer associates and are open for face-to-face feedback and discussions. The training that is provided directly from Senior Management also is a great way to set clear expectations and provide insight into the reasoning behind decisions that are made.

Apparently reyrey found out about the truth being posted on this website and now brockman has made one of his puppets post a positive comment. Look at the way it is written: clearly not a neutral, truthful posting. Seems like a pre-chewed, dictated little PR-story coming from management. I'm sure everyone is intelligent enough to see that. Just think about this: they realize how terrible it is so they actually have someone scanning these website (as they scan monster etc. to make sure none of their employees are looking for another opportunity). Pathetic...

Yeah truly sad that someone can lie so easily, I mean when there are HUNDREDS of people on this site and blogs that say its a crappy place to work and only 1 or 2 that say its "grrrrreat" then who do you believe? I believe the majority!

What a load of crap this reviewer is spitting out. Total dishonesty! Take it from someone who worked there for 10 years....this place has gone horribly wrong since Bob Brockman took over the company (hostile I might add) two years ago. A true nightmarish place to work now! So Sad!!

As a UCS, Texas-based employee prior to the merger, I can attest that these same feelings were there prior to the merger. Bob Brockman's poor setup has just brought the pain to a new set of people. The UCS way of things may have worked when they had 8 employees in the late 70's, but it is not applicable to the modern work environment.
I can also attest to the scanning of Monster for emplyees looking for other jobs. I was called into my boss' office because someone with my name in my city was looking for a job in my field. They just assumed that it was me, correctly so, and told me that it would not be tolerated and I was not to spread ill will throughout my department.
