Reynolds and Reynolds – “Know what you are getting into, before you start here. Stay no longer than 2 years.”

The only reason to work at Reynolds is to get experience or stay off welfare. I wish I could say more positive things about Reynolds. Reynolds had the reputation of being the kind of company one could go to and retire from. However, those days are gone. I liked the people and the devotion people had toward their work, but now those people are gone. The pay was alright when I worked there, but now people are being replaced by college kids who can take a test well, and not know what they are doing. So few good things to say now.
Cons
The Upper Management is stuck in the past. Mr. Brockman bought the company in order to learn and use the good points of Reynolds, then changed everything to be consistant with his struggling company. Reynolds does not like to have people with seniority around. You will be laid off and a person, just out of college who works cheaper, will take your job. The new management does not care about history or devotion to the company. The only concern that upper management has is to the bottom line. I enjoyed my time at Reynolds, but left shortly after the company was bought by Mr. Brockman. I can't believe the shareholders couldn't find someone better to have sold the company too.
