Reynolds and Reynolds – “it's a love/hate relationship”

Pros

It was a great stepping stone to bigger and better opportunities. They were one of few corporations that took people who are entry level. Great benefits as well.

Cons

Company politics.
They track every move you make and restrict most moves you want to make.
The company doesn't recognize people based on merit but based on their ability to brown nose.
The salaries and raises are unfortunate - for those of us on the lower end of the food chain. For upper management I'm sure it is wonderful.

Advice to Senior Management

Ease up. You have to trust the employees you work for to do their job competently. Why would you hire them after the rigorous interview process if you think they are incapable? Your micro managing just makes employees unhappy. Also, can you at least pay your employees industry standard instead of low balling everyone? Why do I even bother, it's not like you care.
