Nice People, poor execution of "One Ricardo" as a global company.

    I worked at Ricardo

    Pros

Great people to work with and decent benefits. They do seem to get a variety of work and it does provide opportunities to work on different projects so you are not always going to be designing the same component.

    Cons

Like anywhere else, management will find their favorites and it can be obvious.
US leadership has been going through many changes since Dave Shemmans became CEO. His focus seems to be much more on the pocketbooks of the Share Holders than on the Employees who make the company.
They claim to be "One" global company but the resource sharing between branches doesn't always seem to make sense.
    Annual reviews aren't very annual...
You can provide your input though it doesn't always feel like its heard.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If your employees aren't the ones responsible for accurately quoting and bidding on work, don't make them feel responsible when it was obviously underbid and budgets run tight, when they are simply trying to get the work done.
Don't force your people to push out S*#! work just to meet an unrealistic deadline.

    Disapproves of CEO
