I have been working at Richards Group

    Pros

Creatively driven, great work, great client management, free insurance (for employee), great rewards for long-time service, tons of great clients.

    Cons

The pay is lower than most other agencies, the creative run the joint leaving little room for brand management judgment of creative, work can be slow to move forward. It's an extremely "flat" agency which leaves little room for careers advancement.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Allow for a more collaborative approach to creative development instead of creating an atmosphere of fear for Brand Management team.

I have been working at Richards Group

    Pros

Above average benefits in the advertising industry, flat organizational structure makes communicating with principals. People usually receive little management and are expected to be self starters that can complete projects with high standards.

    Cons

Integration (a challenge at any agency) can sometimes get in the way of collaboration and information sharing. Has a tendency to make projects harder than they need to be at times.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

We're all working for the same team here. At times it feels like each of the subsidiaries are operating (and competing) independently. Breaking down those barriers will help alleviate this (great progress has been made over the years).
