Richardson International – “A Means to an End.”
1 of 1 people found this helpfulPros
- The hours are pretty much set in stone... 8:30 - 4:30
- very autonomous
- all the mid level managers are great to get along with
Cons
- pay
- a somewhat boring atmosphere
- no formal performance review system
- weak HR department
- You will miss health club memberships if you had those at your previous employer
- if you are looking to be in top management, in all honesty, you must have been comrads with the president before he was working at JRI... also, you must be a "yes" man
- HR Presidents seem to only last a couple months, especially highly regarded ones... now HR president is also head of the legal department. hmm...
Advice to Senior Management
- give employees an incentive related to company performance (ie phantom shares)
- update employees about company related issues, ie. employee website news feed updated rarely, maybe semi annual, would often go to competitors sites to find out relevant info
