    Pros

    Nice local team with some people who really care about the company and the customers.
    OK benefits - Medical, Dental, 401k, Dependent care accounts.

    Cons

    The companies mantra should be Customer Last instead of Customer First because almost nothing we do is with the customer in mind except as a source of revenue.This is extremely frustrating for anyone who actually cares and has led to very high turnover.
    There are too many processes that change too many times a month. Great employees have trouble getting their jobs done and are overwhelmed. New employees are not trained effectively, feel useless and double the workload of everyone else trying to fix their mistakes. There is mass confusion.
    The move to services has led to an overly wide product range that is inadequately supported. Sales goes daily on a fishing expedition for the perfect fit customer.
    Salaries and dropping fast.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Upper management needs to decide whether they want to create a new, services led Ricoh or cut costs and make themselves look productive. Trying to do both at once is killing a company that still makes a decent product. This is directed at the American management, not the Japanese who seem to mean well but are being snowed by the Americans.

    Pros

    Ricoh have many job site to select from for employment.

    Cons

    Ricoh has a very poor Human Resource Management Team. They do not follow through on claims against local management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Upper Management need to treat their employees like they're important and it's because of them that many of them are able to live the life style that they live. It's the front line employees that represent the Ricoh.
