    I worked at Right Management

    Pros

    The clients are great. Also, Right's career search model is spot-on.

    Cons

    When I worked at Right, the time allocated per client was erroneously based on consultants under-reporting the hours they worked, in order to keep their jobs. In reality, to effectively serve our clients, we worked much longer hours. I've stayed in touch with former colleagues, and this still appears to be the case.

    Confront and correct the working conditions, large caseloads, and productivity metrics for Career Management Consultants

    I have been working at Right Management

    Pros

    Great immediate coworkers who are knowledgable and professional. Rewarding helping individuals through outplacement.

    Cons

    Super micromanaging leadership who looks to the consulting staff to 'suck it up' and keep taking on more and more and solely looking to them to take 100% of the responsibility. Mgt spends endless time measuring and coming with new processes that they redo just a few months later at significant cost.
    Self congratulating , closed off leadership who seems to have money for their pet projects and travel and entertainment with each other, but there is not a dime available for training staff or raises for 3 yrs ..but they found money to bonus themselves.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Respect your professionals versus treating them like they are disposable. Try to find some humility. Practice what you preach.
