    The "cowboy" mentality of Montana has to go if they are to grow into a true professional technology company under the Oracle umbrella

    There is a lot of nepotism, which is probably par for the course when your HQ is in a small town in Montana.

    Too much "inbreeding". peole have been with the company too long. As a result, they lack ideas and knowledge outside the scope of the RightNow environment. They need to hire more from the outside and recognize that staying with the same company for most of your career is not a good thing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Bring in new people, recognize the need to manage people out of their positions when they have been there beyond 5 years. They need to gain a broader level of experience. Train senior management in how to manage people with a structured management training program.
