I have been working at Rise Interactive full-time

Pros

- Analytics & Reporting at Rise is great and unlocks the ability for other teams to provide excellent results for their clients.

- Client roster is impressive & the sales team is talented at bringing in more business

- Company has grown significantly (in terms of revenue & number of employees) over the past few years. If that trend continues, there will be greater opportunity for current or soon to be employees.

- Great atmosphere, office, amenities, culture, & co-workers

Cons

- Upper management is open to (and encourages) ideas & process innovations from anyone in the company, there can be a bit of a disconnect between management and employees.

- Expect some relatively late nights at the office

I have been working at Rise Interactive full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Fast growing, fast paced place for smart, hard working people. Great training is provided and initiative is encouraged, recognized and rewarded (but perhaps unevenly). Growing list of good clients. Passionate, growth oriented management.

    Cons

Atmosphere is relaxed and can be fun. But, don't be fooled. Standards are high and employees are hight performing and competitive. Management and other staff don't tolerate non-contributors.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep investing in the best people and processes.

I worked at Rise Interactive full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Rise has very smart and talented people who do amazing work for its clients. The people at the company truly are looking to innovate every day in every aspect of the business.

Most importantly, at it's core it has a CEO that truly wants to build an amazing brand and in his heart wants the best for those who work with him.

While it can be a very challanging and demanding place (including long hours), those who want to can take a lot from the company in terms of industry leading knowledge and skills.

It is a beautiful office and the company is trying to bring in the amenities you find at a lot of the other tech companies - plus they do try hard to do employee appreciation events (and those are a very nice touch and are produced well.)

    Cons

It really depends on the individual:

If you aren't a grinder than it can be a challanging environment (it is very much a production house when it comes down to it - especially on the client services side) - If you live to work, this is the place for you - just be honest with yourself going in. It is not the place for everyone (that is not so much a "Con" just an honest observation of what it takes to last at Rise.)

For me personally, the company just could not compete when it came to money. I don't know if this is across the board, but for me it was the reason I left.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep dreaming big - not everything will result in success, but keep trying to push the envelope. Keep the sustained levels of great service to your clients - and also, keep striving to find new ways to reward your employees. Of course everyone is replacable (I certainly know I will be) - but also remember, while the clients are your bosses, so to are your employees, as they are the glue that sustains the most critical relationships and control the strong results the clients have come to expect.
