Pros

They will pay you huge amounts of money to fix the problems

Cons

they will fire you when they realize that you can't fix the problems, because the problems are all related to lousy senior management.

Jump off a bridge.

    Pros

    Difficult to come up with one. Industry leader? Okay salary? Good work-life balance for some employees!

    Cons

    Where to start?

    Confusion among management on what path to take. Extremely bad judgement in promoting employees to management positions. People who'd obviously make worst managers are promoted. You just need to make friends with upper management. And tell them what they like to hear. They care the least about what's good for the company and what's right.

    There are some groups in the company that obviously have nothing to do all year. Some teams have to work hard year around.

    It's a little better now, but some people spent all their time going to the gym or chatting at the water cooler, while some had to come to work every weekend.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep all the individual contributors. There are some smart hardworking people among them. Get rid of everyone director and up. Bring new management.
