I have been working at Ritz-Carlton full-time for less than a year

Pros

Great resources & support, lots of opportunity for growth and promotion, very healthy company economically.

Cons

Many rules & standard operating procedures - may not be a good fit for those who prefer a smaller, independent hotel atmosphere where you make or break the rules on an as-needed basis...

I have been working at Ritz-Carlton

    Pros

Work in a professional environment where everyone is treated with respect.
Meeting some of the world's most successful people on a daily basis.
Compensation plan when times were good was excellent.
Knew exactly what is expected of you.

    Cons

With the real estate crash in 2008, the company remained stuck to old ways and were arrogant about the state of the industry, instead of adapting to change and attempting to innovate and bounce back.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to the senior sales team about what is important, they are the people on the front line working with prospective Members.
