I have been working at Ritz-Carlton full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Co-Workers have a great teamwork ethic
    Benefits are good
    Perks are great
    Work environment is beautiful

    Cons

Pay increases are even across the board, not based on skill and achievement; fluctuating schedules.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay increases based on skill level and achievement vs. cost of living flat across the board for everyone. If you are truely interested in "family first" when promoting, please allow "family" in-house the opportunity for growth and development, instead of choosing the easy lateral move from someone who has been in the job for a longer period of time. After a certain amount of years in a position, they should be opting for growth as well vs. the easy lateral move. It seems that you are more valued here for another job in the hotel if you leave the company and then apply for a position from the outside.
