I worked at Ritz-Carlton full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

Weekly pay is fantastic. Also, the heavy discounts are a great perk to have! Especially if you work in the spa

Cons

There's definitely a food chain when it comes to how others are treated. Jobs such as management, security, and front desk are treated like gold while others (housekeeping, spa valet, and laundry) are treated like dirt.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat every employee the same, regardless of job title.

I have been working at Ritz-Carlton full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

professional company with good benefits and ok pay. leadership is very professional

    Cons

no holidays or even weekends off. too many rules, you feel like a kindergartner at times.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Allow employees to grow. Hire more people so that the employees can have an occasional couple of days off and do not have to work non stop overtime. Promote people regardless of age and beauty.

I worked at Ritz-Carlton full-time for more than a year

    Pros

This company is like a well oiled machine. Your job is very regimented and there is a daily line-up. There is respect for the employees as we are all ladies and gentlemen. I had a great experience working with some wonderfully personal and professional people.

    Cons

It seemed that the only way to move up and to gain a better salary is to go to a competitor and then come back.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take an interest in developing and training individuals within the company and offer them the same or better pay as you would someone coming from a competetor.
