    Pros

As an MFT intern you can accrue your state hours fast.

    Cons

They burn out their employees by overloading them with client's. Management works with a 1960's management mentality. Depending on the department you work in you may need to work 55-60 hours a week and due to being paid as a exempt employee they expect you will work it. Even if it impedes on your down time or family time. They don't care. The company has a lot of people who go out due to stress leave.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get some professional help to update the management mentality especially how employees are treated. Perhaps, it would be better if a UNION was brought in to help if management remains antiquated.

    Pros

Great supervision for interns. Company investment in your success. Employee makes great connections with other professionals in the community. HR is very supportive and open to suggestion. Fun, relaxed culture with lots of activities for employees. When I was injured on the job ROCC went above and beyond to care for me properly. I would work for these people again in a heart beat!

    Cons

As always with the non profit sector, money. Also, as I left the company there was some downsizing that laid a lot of people off. I jumped ship because I wasn't sure how solvent the company was. They seem to have corrected the problem at this point as people I know in the company tell me they like their jobs and feel secure.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Your greatest resource are your people. keep up the great work.
