Pros

Very fast paced and innovative company to work for. Very smart engineering team that come up with innovative solutions. This is a high-growth area even in the current downturn and it helps to be part of Riverbed which shoudl see its profile grow over the next couple of years.

Cons

Small company with, at this time, only one revenue generating product. This makes revenue lumpy and makes it more susceptible to the downturn. It's buffeted by large competitors - Cisco the largest among them.

Advice to Senior Management

Senior Management needs to be more aggressive about acquisitions. While this will likely dilute shareholders in the near-term, this is the best option for longer term growth in revenue and market-share.
