I have been working at Riverbed Technology full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Riverbed has some of the best products in the industry and great innovation. It's easy to get excited talking to friends and customers about the products and solutions. The benefits are first class.

    Cons

As the company grows, people who can't appreciate the culture and came from much larger organizations are trying to transform Riverbed into the monolithic organizations they left to join Riverbed. This is coming from someone who left one of those large companies. People are starting to get caught up in a heavily political environment, and like no other time in my career, I don't feel like my management "has my back".

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep the egos of your senior leaders in check (VP/SVP, both new and old) - they are quick to dismiss customers, partners, and employees' opinions.
