I have been working at Riverside Casino & Golf Resort full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

No matter what position your in the casino is required to pay more than minimum wage. The company values their employees and offers access to their wellness center. They offer profit sharing after employment of a few months.

Because it is a casino some areas work inconvenient hours.

I worked at Riverside Casino & Golf Resort full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Profit sharing, on-site cafeteria for employees.

    Cons

Upper management is disconnected, there's a pay cut for any middle mgt position so most who don't plan to stay in the casino business don't attempt to advance. Those that do are your typical burnt-out, no formal education, worked at 50 casinos in the last 20 years types. The result of this is your direct boss will probably have a chip on their shoulder if you're anything but a drone, as they feel insecure that most of those 'below' them are students.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

None. It's good business sense to hire middle management that will accept low pay and stay there for a long time.
