Pros

Very supportive of their employees and managers
They push you to get PMP and other certifications and they pay for continuing education
The pay is good if you push for what you want

Cons

Communication is poor at times when you are on a remote site

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Company has lost local site management professionalism and morale

    Pros

Company once offered career growth through educational opportunities. It also had a very good insurance benefit package when compared to other government contractors. Company provided employees with 401K matching through Merrill Lynch.

    Cons

Company appears to have evolved from a family owned caring environment to one only concerned with bottom-line dollars. Where there once was professional local site management concerned with growing and mentoring employees, there is now a lack of professional management with little or no regard for individual employees and morale. Company continues to lose valuable employees due to poor management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Until company evaluates and corrects its local site management of employees, it will continue to see a decrease in morale and retention of valuable employees. Local site employees are the heart of this company's professional reputation. As these employees are lost, there is a negative impact being left with customers. There is a disconcerting ability for communication between the site employees and mid to upper management when an unresolved issue is encountered with local site managers. Employees are unable to voice concerns past site managers without fear of retaliation. Sadly once a great company employees could be proud of representing, it is now a company that many prefer not to be associated,
