Headquarters people generate no revenue but treat themselves well with small perks but the field people not so much.

Senior Consulting Manager (Current Employee)

ProsThey don't let people go except in really tough economic times, sometimes to the company's detriment. They don't require people to take leave when the office or client site closes due to conditions beyond the control of the office/client.

ConsThey need to review the performance of HQ support people (payroll, benefits, expenses, education, timekeeper, event planning) in light of their support for the people billing in the field.
Communications about what is happening with the company and what it means would be extremely helpful especially when reorganizations are done or key individuals leave>

Advice to Senior ManagementUpper management needs to get out of the office and out to the client sites to visit with customers and the field people.
