Current Employee – been working at Robert Half International
Pros – The associates at Robert Half are professional. They keep you apprised of the market situation and possible assignments. They are receptive to follow up. I believe they serve my interests to the extent possible.
Cons – The client reach is not as great as I would like. From assignments I have had, I have come into contact with individuals that asserted that Robert Half has had a tendency from time to time to alienate clients. I haven't noticed this in my assignments, nor did any of these individuals give specifics. Robert Half's relationship with my placement companies has been very good.
Advice to Senior Management – Do what you can to minimize turnover. I have worked with well over a dozen individuals during my time working with Robert Half. Different individuals have described my preferred placement venue in different terms. When a "champion" leaves, it is deflating because you have to build a relationship with another person or persons. The lack of continuity leads to uncertainty, as it is difficult to know how someone is presenting you when you haven't had time to build a relationship with him or her. They are aware of your capabilities or experiences with clients. Again, less turnover.
