Robert Half – “Good training grounds for beginning recruiters. Bad retention and work environment.”
Pros
Great training and good pay for beginning recruiters looking to get into the business. There business model was to meet specific goal criteria based upon passed top performers. The model does work but it take a lot of effort and time to reach top performer status. But once you are up there, you are treated like a king.
Cons
High turnover and overall bad reputation. They like to "crack the whip" and pillage employees on numbers. Very hard to achieve management (VP) because you have to meet a certain demographic and skill. Several of the senior managers would act immature and based their decisions on favoritism. It was similar to a frat/soriety environment. Many top performers like myself were dangled several promises that were never followed through. They are very litigious for individuals that leave on their own accord to work for the competition. Not a positive place to work.
Advice to Senior Management
Please listen to your employees rather then judging them based on a excel spreadsheet.
