Current Employee - Sales Manager (Sales Representative )
Current Employee - Sales Manager (Sales Representative )

I have been working at Rockstar full-time for more than a year

Pros

Learn how to work from a virtual office, get experienced in b2b sales, become efficient in preparing and delivering presentations, experience in becoming a team leader for partner sales teams, experience in tracking sales and developing and executing effective sales programs and promotions

Cons

no lateral movement, hard to get pay increase, tough micro-management, overloaded with job tasks due to the size of the company to the amount of employees (you will wear multiple hats with this job)

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give more freedom to sales reps to run there territories and base there job on the goals they hit and not the amount of stores they can hit in a day

    Pros

Gave raises on a bi-annual basis commiserative with productivity; generous stock share options; generous benefits; casual work environment

    Cons

Expected to wear multiple hats and take on responsibilities far above and beyond original job description; some of the executives had personalities that were challenging to navigate

I worked at Rockstar part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Tons of free rockstar and promotional items
    connections with the company
opportunities for involvement outside of campus

    Cons

The company was very hands off and were hard to contact at times. I did not learn a whole from the experience because of this.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It would be nice for management to get more involved with the student brand ambassadors and help them progress theeir professional experience through off campus activities.
