I have been working at Rockwell Automation full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

The people. The everyday Joe and Sally who work here are great.

Cons

"Culture & Values" are smoke and mirrors.
Say one thing. Do another. Example: Travel restrictions? Not for Execs on the corporate jet. why not burn $250K in jet fuel to go *anywhere.* Nevermind that this will equal 2 junior engineers salaries, engineers they will layoff in 12 months due to "tightening the belt."

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn what "ethics," and "leadership" really are. Then exemplify them.

    Pros

    People are friendly. Decent cafeteria

    Cons

    Some supervisor are very not knowledgeable of their task at hand. Positions available depending on who you are and who you know, not on what you know. I guess supervisor learn on the job. A little bullying in the department. Poor tools on hand to do a decent job. No upper support vs customer issues. It was time to go.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get informed qualified people in key positions not the son of an ex boss who may not be qualified.
