Rockwell Automation – “The rich get richer, the workers get screwed.”
1 of 2 people found this helpfulPros
Most of the people that I worked with were great, and most of the time it wasn't a bad place to work.
Cons
Over the past several years merit increases did not keep up with inflation, and the difference in merit pay between did not meet, met, and exceeded expectations was only 0.1%. It became clear that there was no reward for extra effort. "Let no good deed go unpunished".
Advice to Senior Management
As with so many companies in the US these days, Rockwell's management is too busy counting their outrageous bonuses while laying people off to keep the books balanced and keep the share holders in the fog about what is really going on. If you really wanted to improve company moral then you would forgo any and all pay except for a maximum of $400K in any fiscal year in which any employee was laid off.
