Rockwell Automation Employee Review

Current Employee – been working at Rockwell Automation

Pros – One of the largest engineering firms in NE Ohio.
Competitive Pay and Benefits.
Competent management and senior management.
Flexible hours.
Open and inviting company culture.

Cons – Pay is driven by length of tenure - not performance.
Performance Reviews are long and yet not very useful.
There is almost no incentive to excel.
IT exists to decrease our productivity.
Product development is globally distributed which makes the process longer and more painful.

Advice to Senior Management – The entire performance review process and merit increase system needs revamped.
IT also needs to be overhauled - they need to realize that they exist to serve the rest of the organization. They are not a profit generator.
