Pros

Diverse working environment, fair benefits offered, and multiple abilities for advancement if an engineer.

Slow in terms of pay raises, if you're in certain fields or branches you will have a hard time advancing.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take a hard look at talent retention, refocus attention on customer satisfaction than overall revenue.

I have been working at Rockwell Collins full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Good technological place to work. Co-workers are professional. Lots of opportunities to move around.

    Cons

Some positions require many hours continuously. You compete with the entire company at your grade level for compensation and advancement; if you're not careful, this can be bad due to limited opportunities to show skills, not necessarily due to lack of work ethic, motivation, etc.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't pigeon-hole employees; keep them moving onward/upward if they want to advance.
